Over a dining table or counter

Hang the bottom of the shade 75 to 90 cm above the table or counter. Width should be about half to two-thirds of the table's width so the light covers the surface without looking oversized.

Where people walk under it

If the light sits over a walkway, keep the bottom at least 7 ft (213 cm) from the floor so heads clear the shade.

One light or a row
