Shaw White Hanging Pendant Ceiling Light
About our chandeliers
Chandelier, fanoos and jhumar are three names for the same thing: a decorative light that hangs in the centre of a room. Ours are modern designs for the drawing room, the dining table and the stairwell. Every chandelier shows its price in rupees, and we deliver across Pakistan.
Getting the size right
Add the length and width of your room in feet and read the total as inches. A 12 by 14 foot room suits a chandelier about 26 inches wide. Over a dining table, hang it 75 to 90 cm above the tabletop and keep it narrower than the table. Anywhere people walk underneath, leave at least 7 feet between the floor and the bottom of the light.
High ceilings and stairs
A double-height lobby or an open stairwell needs a taller fitting with a longer drop, or it looks lost. Measure your ceiling height before you choose, and message us if you are not sure which size fits.
Installation
A chandelier is heavy and wired to mains power. Have an electrician fix it into the concrete slab, never into a false ceiling alone.
Delivery
We deliver to Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and every other city in Pakistan, with cash on delivery on eligible orders.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between a chandelier, a fanoos and a jhumar?
- In practice, none. Fanoos and jhumar are the Urdu words most shops use, and chandelier is the English one. All three mean a hanging ceiling light with several lamps.
- What size chandelier do I need?
- Add your room's length and width in feet. That number in inches is a good width. A 14 by 18 foot room takes about 32 inches.
- How high should a chandelier hang over a dining table?
- 75 to 90 cm above the tabletop, so it lights the table without blocking the view across it.
- Can a chandelier go on a false ceiling?
- Only if the fixing passes through the false ceiling into the concrete slab above. The board alone cannot carry the weight.
